Welcome! I’m a Johns Hopkins grad student working on my master’s in health communications, focusing on how technology and health intersect. I started this blog to share insights from my studies and beyond, and hopefully start a dialogue with and learn from those who come across this site.

I’m just getting started with the “professional” side of blogging, so please, help me out, and comment on a post or two!

By day, I work in communications and social marketing in the health program of a Washington D.C. government contractor. I manage social media and Web strategy for our clients, and sometimes traditional communication planning as well. My true passion is using Web 2.0 tools to spread the word, although I do everything from Web writing and content management to Web analytics and search engine marketing.
